Raja Bankatlal Badruka belonged to a distinguished business family that has its roots in Hyderabad for over a century. Magnanimous and philanthropic by nature, he donated considerable amounts to charity and social causes.
He always dearly cherished the ideal of encouraging and propagating education. This idealism impelled him to set up the Seth Ghasiram Gopikishan Badruka Educational Society.

Sri. Raja Bankatlal Badruka was inspired by his father Sri. Gopikishan Badruka and Grand father Sri. Ghasiram Badruka. To promote the Educational Society as part of philanthropic activity and named it in their Honour.
